𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁?” 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 … Food … Shelter … Medicine. Forget so-called “extras” – they don’t even enter your mind. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲.

I’m a part of a community that understands what it’s like to struggle financially. In one way or another, we can all relate. 𝗜𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, not only in our own lives but in the lives of thousands of others, 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. With a supportive network and a system designed for those in survival mode, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆—𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀.
